Thursday Apr 09, 2020
Thursday Apr 09, 2020
And further down the Rabbit Hole we tumble... Day after day a new level of weirdness and chaos becomes the new normal... On going I'll keep doing these fortnightly instalments trying to understand what in actual f@ck is going on. For Part II, Martin and Franco are back and Matt in the Hat makes his return... As always it was an enlightening, entertaining and honest conversation with these gentlemen... Whilst we focused a lot on Australia, the topics we cover echo around the globe. Be cool, be kind and stay safe.

Through the Looking Glass...
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
WTF is actually going on at the moment... What is happening at the moment is unprecedented, none of us have anything to refer to... After being asked by people to put my 10 cents in I thought it best to gather a meeting of the minds... Franco, Martin, Daniel and I discussed the who, what, where, when and why with the information at hand... All my instincts that have saved me more times than I can count are screaming at me that something isn't right about this... Despite that I know I could be wrong... Regardless to get these guys together (over Zoom) was a pleasure and an honour, I was going to say enjoy however it doesn't seem appropriate so just listen in, observe and understand that we all know that we know nothing...

Megalithic Mysteries - Learning's from the Field
Friday Mar 13, 2020
Friday Mar 13, 2020
Having boots on the ground and looking at these Megalithic Mysteries is so important... Actually seeing the stones, handling them and analysing them makes such a difference. As the loyal listeners know we've been in the field quite a bit over the past 3 months trying to understand better what we are looking at and their has been plenty of learning's that have come from these explorations. In a blast from the past Angus rejoins us for this episode and I download him on all the lesson's, learning's and discoveries we've made. It was good to have him back on and record a podcast in The Refinery, enjoy.

Monday Feb 17, 2020
Monday Feb 17, 2020
A clay tablet from 3700 years in the past is rewriting Trigonometry as we know it... That's what this weeks episode is about, a small clay tablet from Ancient Babylon, the information it contains was deciphered by an Aussie team led by Dr Daniel Mansfield... The Trigonometry that is recorded on the tablet predates the Greeks by 1500 years, it simpler and more accurate than what we use today... Just a short one this week that I had to share with you all, enjoy.

A Stone Mason's Perspective...
Saturday Feb 08, 2020
Saturday Feb 08, 2020
In this weeks episode we get a Stone Mason's perspective on Megaliths... At least that was the premise we started with. Amongst talking about how you deal with, cut and move stone we also touched on religion, spirituality, men's mental health and shared some our own journeys along the way. I only met Ben Bush (Bushy) a few days ago through Instagram, that is one of the positive impacts Social Media can have, it can allow like minded people to connect and share knowledge. Social Media is a tool and we can choose how we use it, for example the excellent conversation you're about to listen to, enjoy.

Australia's Stonehenge with Richard Patterson...
Saturday Feb 01, 2020
Saturday Feb 01, 2020
A Survey was done back in 1938 of Australia's Stonehenge whilst it was still standing... Those Survey documents were lost for 75 years until Richard Patterson discovered them back in 2013. To say the rediscovery of these documents is one of the most important finds in Australian archaeological history is not an understatement... It has given us a new understanding of the Indigenous culture of Australia and where they fit in to the Megalithic cultures around the globe. I sat down with Richard to discuss the facts, the fiction, the theories and the ideas that have come from researching the documentation and the surrounding area. Enjoy.
