In this weeks episode we get a Stone Mason's perspective on Megaliths... At least that was the premise we started with. Amongst talking about how you deal with, cut and move stone we also touched on religion, spirituality, men's mental health and shared some our own journeys along the way. I only met Ben Bush (Bushy) a few days ago through Instagram, that is one of the positive impacts Social Media can have, it can allow like minded people to connect and share knowledge. A Survey was done back in 1938 of Australia's Stonehenge whilst it was still standing... Those Survey documents were lost for 75 years until Richard Patterson discovered them back in 2013. To say the rediscovery of these documents is one of the most important finds in Australian archaeological history is not an understatement... It has given us a new understanding of the Indigenous culture of Australia and where they fit in to the Megalithic cultures around the globe. I sat down with Richard to discuss the facts, the fiction, the theories and the ideas that have come from researching the documentation and the surrounding area. Enjoy.

In this weeks episode I discuss the evidence of a double impact meteor/asteroid strike in the Gulf of Carpentaria only a mere 1500 years ago... Also the potential local and global effect it had as this was no small object, it's estimated to have been 600m (2000ft) wide before it broke up into 2 pieces before impact. The evidence is building around the globe that impacts have happened a lot more often than we've been led to believe and they have shaped our history more than we understand... Enjoy.

This Podcast was recorded sitting on top of the Gympie Pyramid... Woody, Macca and I had the privilege and the honour of visiting the site with some of the Kabi people who are the traditional guardians and protectors of Djaki Kundu (the Gympie Pyramid or Rocky Ridge). We were going to record in the evening after visiting the site however we were drawn back the next morning to record what you are about to listen to. I sent the podcast to the Kabi People for their approval which they were gracious enough to give. I see this podcast as the most important one we've ever done and I know we all have much love and respect for the Kabi People who allowed to share this with you all. Enjoy. We are a species with amnesia... We are afraid of the things we don't understand and destroy them without proper thought... This unfortunately what happened to Australia's Stonehenge. However before it was destroyed some excellent work was done in the late 1930's by Frederick Slater and then rediscovered in 2013 by Richard Patterson when more work was undertaken... It's another example of singular people changing our understanding of history and for these types of people we must be forever thankful. Enjoy.

Reintegration... I think it could be harder than integrating something new into your existence because the novelty isn't there. Reintegration is when you know what to do to make yourself better, you have a solid plan that works however you're still not doing it... I sat back down with Daniel Mengel to discuss this amongst many other things, it was a bit of a full circle moment because Daniel was the last studio guest and this is actually a part two to Episode 82 - Moving Forward so enjoy.

It has been a while since everyone has heard from me... Failure, fear, depression, stress, anxiety and trying to survive have got in the way of releasing a podcast... However that ends now, before I could start having guests back on and delving into the thousand things that need to be talked about I sat down and unpacked the process I've been through over the past few months. It's been a bit of a Journey for sure and I hope you get something out of this one.
