Brothers Keeper...

This week we welcome Duncan Burns to the podcast, Duncan is an ex-student of mine and his story is next level... As is what he's done to overcome it and be doing excellent work for the community helping young people transition out of gang and prison life.  It was a privilege and an honour to have Duncan share his story, there's something in it to be learned for everyone.  Despite that we had plenty of laughs and it was an excellent conversation, enjoy.

Divide & Conquer...

Divide & Conquer iIs one of the oldest moves in the book and we're falling for it... again.  We welcome Brendan Murphy back to the podcast to get his views on what is actually going on at the moment... It's very concerning, witnessing the fall of the Western Empire and watching the attempt at total control take place... The question is the same one I've asked on a number of occasions, when will we stand?  At what point is enough, enough?  I really appreciate Brendan's time, his perspective and share his exasperation at what's going on.

Musing's of Madmen...

When I started podcasting years ago all I wanted to do is have cool conversations with good people... This is another cool conversation had with some blokes I'm privileged to call good mates.  It's called Musing's of Madmen because we had a wide and varied conversation about a number of topics... We covered off Gympie (they were on the last field trip), some of the modern issues we're all facing and few others as well... Enjoy

Story Time with The Coach and The Coder...

This one starts with me unpacking a few things.... Then after some classic Black Sabbath Neil and I share some stories from our lives, it's interesting how you gather crazy experiences especially if you aren't backwards in going forwards.  It's these collective experiences that make us who we are and shape the colourful people we've become now... It's a different side to Neil and that was what I was hoping for... It's also good to just tell some stories and have some fun from time to time, enjoy. 

Unfortunate Truths II...

Whilst truth is just a perception, facing unfortunate truth's or having difficult conversations is never easy... This weeks podcast with Martin Worth was about doing both of those things... We're trying to unlock the code here, and that has sent us on more then a few adventures over the years. Not all those adventures have been positive and the thread that seems to be running through them is one of the most unfortunate truth's I've ever faced... We all need to face unfortunate truths at some point and maybe if we did together there'd be a way forward.

State of Play II...

I wish I could say with with the turning of the calendar it's the dawn of a new day however I see challenging and interesting times ahead for us all... The year 2020 will echo through eternity and I'm not sure we've begun to deal with the fallout from that... This episode was recorded a few weeks ago, Dan and I sat down and explored U.S and World politics, the ongoing pandemic, it's effects and hopefully a way forward.  It's always a wide ranging and interesting conversation with Dan, I appreciate his time and perspectives... A Set of Unfortunate Truths...

Truth is just a perception based on information and how you've interpreted it... The research I've been doing for the past few years has led me to an unfortunate set of truth's.  My Beautiful Wife joined me for this one to help me articulate the information I wanted to get across. I mean no offence to anyone through some of the things I say in this one, again it is just one person's perspective... We need to continually seek out perspectives that differ from our own to build the tiles up on our mirror ball... Enjoy.
